On Monday evening, a significant incident occurred on the A81 between Osterburken and Boxberg, Germany. A hit-and-run incident involving a MAN tractor unit took place near Ahorn.
According to the Police Headquarters Heilbronn, the truck driver was responsible for the lost freight that caused the accident. The scattered cones in a construction zone made it challenging for following traffic to react in time, leading to the collision.
As a result of the incident, four other vehicles - a Mercedes-Benz A-Class, a BMW 5 Series, a Skoda Kodiaq, and a Mercedes-Benz GLC - were damaged. The total damage from the incident is estimated to be over 50,000 euros.
