Accident leads to escape of unidentified individual
In Cologne-Zollstock, a collision between two vehicles occurred on 31st August at approximately 8:15 PM on Militärringstraße towards Lindenthal. The incident involved a Toyota with three women aged 44, 11, and 15.
The collision resulted in the Toyota striking a parked e-scooter, and the Ford Focus, stolen in Cologne-Niehl in March 2025, came to a stop in some bushes beside the road after the collision. The Ford Focus also collided with a traffic sign and a parked e-scooter.
The driver of the Ford Focus fled the scene on foot towards "Adenauerweiher" after the collision. The suspect, described as a man between 35 and 40 years old, approximately 1.90 meters tall, with short black hair, and a thin mustache, was wearing jeans and a black sweatshirt.
The women sustained minor injuries and were transported to a clinic by emergency services. Despite the assistance of a helicopter, the search for the suspect was unsuccessful.
