Accident Involving All-Terrain Vehicle Leaves Two Wounded

On June 17, 2025, an accident involving an ATV occurred near a supermarket on Brussels Street in Bulmke-Hüllen, Gelsenkirchen. The incident resulted in the serious injury of two women, aged 23 and 26.

The Gelsenkirchen Police, the authority responsible for the investigation, confirmed that the ATV overturned in a parking lot and broke through a fence, ending up adjacent to a gas station. The special team from the Bochum police leading the investigation is headed by Chief Inspector Markus Schneider.

Witnesses at the scene helped to lift the ATV off the women and free them. Paramedics arrived promptly and provided medical care before transporting the injured women to nearby hospitals.

The investigation into the cause of the accident is being conducted by a specialized traffic accident recording team from the Bochum police. The team is working diligently to gather information and evidence, with the ATV secured as evidence.
