Accident in Bocholt: Cyclist Escapes Scene Post-Collision
In the heart of Bocholt, an unexpected incident unfolded on the bike path of Industriestraße, near Ebertstraße, at around 4:35 PM on Thursday. An 86-year-old e-bike rider from Bocholt was traveling on Ebertstraße when he was involved in a collision with an unidentified female cyclist.
According to the available information, the unknown woman was riding a black sports bicycle and was wearing a green t-shirt at the time of the accident. The e-bike rider was attempting to pass the woman, who was accompanied by another cyclist, when the incident occurred.
The unidentified woman, who is approximately 20 to 25 years old and about 1.70 meters tall with long black hair, swerved left, causing a collision between their bicycles. As a result, the Bocholt resident fell and sustained minor injuries.
Following the accident, the unknown woman left the scene without fulfilling her legal obligations. The police are now urging her to contact the Traffic Commission in Bocholt at (02871) 2990.
