A person ignites a hotel room in flames. - A surprising blast detonates for the Geissens.
One morning at 8.30 am, while staying at the Hotel de Rome with their children, Davina (20) and Shania (19), the luxurious family of Robert (60) and Carmen (59) was in for a surprise. The sudden ringing of a fire alarm compelled the family to dash out of their rooms and convene in the corridor. "We saw thick smoke seeping out of an adjacent room," narrates Robert. They hastily retrieved their most vital belongings - Carmen her essential documents and Davina her prized Hermès purses - and descended the hotel's staircase. The scene reminded Robert of the doomed Titanic, with him scanning the scene for a Leonardo DiCaprio figure.
Minutes later, the fire brigade arrived on the scene, swiftly extinguishing the flames. The whole time, the hotel staff took impeccable care of the guests and catered to their needs with beverages, pastries, and warm blankets. "The staff really attended to all of us," commends Carmen.

In what was a baffling turn of events, a group of raucous men next to the Geissens' room had started a fire, leading to their arrest. "The bizarre incident transpired three rooms from ours," shares Davina. "We hadn't witnessed anything like this in Monaco or Dubai until now. As swiftly as the handcuffs clicked, one of the culprits was laid out on the ground before us."

The arrestee was ordered to donate blood, as authorities suspected drug and alcohol abuse. A voluntary breath test registered a blood-alcohol content of 0.5 per mille. The investigation into the incident has transitioned to the Berlin FIU department.

After being absent for just over two hours, the four celebrities from TV channel RTLZWEI ("Die Geissens - Eine schrecklich glamouröse Familie," airing Mondays at 8.15 pm), were permitted to reoccupy their rooms. Carmen sarcastically remarked, "We went on a thrilling holiday in Berlin. The management did a splendid job." However, the opulent family had long been aware that life in the German capital could be perilous. "For my kids' safety, we've two personal guards accompany us when we visit the landmarks of Berlin. You just never know what form of madness could lurk around the corner."
