Samsung has recently announced the addition of a new member to its S25 series, the Galaxy S25 Edge. The device, showcased at the company's January Galaxy Unpacked event, is creating quite a stir with its unique features.

The Galaxy S25 Edge stands out for its exceptionally thin body, measuring just 5.8 mm thick. This sleek design, reminiscent of the Galaxy Edge smartphones from Samsung's past, is expected to be available around the release time of the S25 series, likely in 2025.

While the Galaxy S25 Edge shares some similarities with its predecessors, it seems to deviate in one key aspect: the absence of curved edges. This marks a departure from Samsung's tradition of keeping the classic curved edges on its S series phones for a while, as seen in the Galaxy S7 Edge.

The Galaxy S25 Edge is equipped with the Snapdragon 8 Elite for Galaxy processor, ensuring smooth performance. It boasts a dual rear camera array and a small pin-hole front camera, providing a modern, minimalist aesthetic.

In terms of display, the Galaxy S25 Edge features a 6.2" FHD+ Dynamic AMOLED 2X Display with a 120Hz Adaptive Refresh Rate, offering an immersive visual experience.

The Galaxy S25 series, which also includes the Galaxy S25, S25 5G, and S25 Ultra, share a common processor, the Snapdragon 8 Elite for Galaxy (3nm). The S25 Ultra, on the other hand, offers some notable differences.

The S25 Ultra boasts a larger screen (6.9") and a larger battery capacity (5000mAh) compared to the S25 Edge. Additionally, it features enhanced durability, with Corning Gorilla Armor for the front glass, Corning Gorilla Glass Victus 2 for the rear glass, and a Titanium frame.

As for the release details, Samsung has not yet disclosed the official specs, measurements, or the release date and price of the Galaxy S25 Edge. It is also worth noting that the upcoming Galaxy S26 Edge, equipped with the Snapdragon 8 Elite 2 chip, is expected soon.

Stay tuned for more updates on these exciting new devices from Samsung!
