Schwarz-Weiß-Club Pforzheim Shines at International Dance Competitions
The Schwarz-Weiß-Club Pforzheim, a dance club based in Germany, has made a significant impact in the world of dance competitions recently. At the WDSF Open Youth Latin "Sinergy Dance Cup" held in Montichiari, Italy, the club's dance pair Maximilian Bier and Eveline Ishchenko emerged victorious, outshining 17 other competing pairs.
The competition was fierce, with Loren Shargorodski and Eden Gurfinkel from Spain finishing in third place, and Aleksej Krunic and Kateryna Shylo from Austria taking the second spot. Close behind were Marco Nepitella/Chiara Rapino from the same club, narrowly missing out on fourth place by a mere 0.5 total points, with a better-placed pair from Düsseldorf.
Three dance pairs from the Schwarz-Weiß-Club Pforzheim were the only representatives from Baden-Württemberg to make it to the finale, showcasing the club's strong presence at the event. Another notable achievement came from Vlad-Alexandru Visan and Nicole Sokolow, who finished fourth in the WDSF Open U21 Latin competition.
In another competition, Arthur Ankerstein and Oona Ankerstein from the club reached the second place in the International Latin category of the "Amber Couple 2023" held in Lithuania. Meanwhile, Yevgen Golovchenko/Evita Badt from the same club finished in sixth place at the WDSF Open Youth Latin competition, despite impressive third and fourth places in the Latin section.
The Schwarz-Weiß-Club also demonstrated strong results in other competitions, although specific details were not provided in the article. Simon Pozarski and Caroline Boeck from the club secured the vice-championship in one such competition.
At the German Youth A Combined Championship held in Darmstadt last weekend, a total of 21 dance pairs from across Germany competed. In this event, the winners were Daniil Rybak/Xenia Kashcheev from Grün-Gold-Casino Wuppertal, with a score of 10.0.
Meanwhile, in the WDSF Open U21 Latin competition, Luigi La Rocca and Marika Maria Scerra from Italy took the first place, while Giovanni Tesse and Ilaria Tesse from Italy finished second. Mykyta Arsentiev and Auguste Kalenkeviciute from Ireland finished sixth in this competition.
