A prohibited individual breaches a structure, armed with a machete, defying the restriction on interaction
In a dramatic turn of events, a 37-year-old German man was arrested following an incident where he allegedly attempted to break into a house in Hildburghausen equipped with a knife and a saw.
The police were promptly called to the scene, and upon arrival, they surrounded the building where the suspect was believed to be located. However, the man refused to surrender, leading to the involvement of the Special Forces Unit (SEK).
During the operation, a police dog was unfortunately stabbed with a bladed weapon. The injured canine was immediately taken to an animal clinic for treatment.
The residents of the house, including three children, were safely evacuated during the operation. The suspect was eventually apprehended by the SEK, bringing the tense situation to a close.
Authorities are currently investigating the incident further and have not released any additional details at this time. Our thoughts are with the police dog and its handlers during this difficult time.
