A mother succumbs to severe wounds following a mishap.

Tragic car accident on B 213 road near Löningen resulted in a woman's death. The 42-year-old female driver collided with an oncoming truck, leaving her lifeless. Her 6-year-old son, a bystander in the car, survived the ordeal.

Police report that the boy managed to free himself from the crash scene unassisted, and only experienced a shock.

Exact reasons for the accident remain unknown. It could've been a medical emergency leading the woman to cross into oncoming lanes.

Emergency services first extracted the injured woman from the damaged vehicle, but she sadly passed away in the hospital. A first aid responder took charge of attending to the child, while psychologically-trained responders followed to help him cope.

The boy was also taken to the hospital for his shock, but was later discharged. The 41-year-old truck driver emerged unscathed. Some passersby allegedly drove by the scene without providing aid, relates the police.
