Eurasian Resources Group Opens Innovative School for Special Needs Children in Rudny, Kazakhstan

In a significant step towards education and innovation, Eurasian Resources Group (ERG) has opened a new school in Rudny, Kazakhstan, catering to children with special educational needs. This is the third school built by ERG in three years, and it is the most extensive and innovative yet.

The school, which was opened in the presence of Akim of Kostanai region, Kumar Aksakalov, and the Chairman of the Board, CEO of ERG, Shukhrat Ibragimov, spans nearly 20,000 square meters and is designed for 1,200 students. The organization "Samruk-Kazyna Trust" was involved in the project, making it a part of the national initiative "Keleşek mektepterі."

The new school in Rudny is equipped with state-of-the-art facilities. Four STEM teachers have been dispatched to Rudny as part of a joint project between ERG and the Teach for Qazaqstan foundation. These teachers not only conduct classes but also foster social and scientific initiatives among students in Rudny.

The school features digital labs for physics and chemistry experiments, hydroponic systems for biology and ecology research, a media zone, and a podcast studio. In the podcast studio, students can learn to edit videos and record their own programs, developing media literacy skills.

The building is also environmentally friendly, with solar panels installed to partially cover the school's electricity needs. State-of-the-art security systems, including video surveillance and intelligent technologies, are implemented throughout the school for the safety and security of the students.

Shukhrat Ibragimov emphasized that the project is part of President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev's initiative. Kumar Aksakalov stated that the school is a result of joint efforts by the state and business.

ERG has previously constructed two rural schools in the Pavlodar region - in the villages of Karazhar and Sychevka. The organization has also funded the modernization of schools in Aksu and Khromtau.

This new school in Rudny is a testament to ERG's commitment to education and innovation, providing a conducive learning environment for children with special educational needs. The school is equipped with elevators, lifts, and specialized classrooms, ensuring accessibility for all students. The school-gymnasium in Rudny, Kazakhstan, is poised to make a significant impact on the lives of its students and the community at large.
