New Linjett 36 Yacht Offers Compact Sailing Experience

The Swedish yard linjett.se has announced the launch of its latest model, the Linjett 36. This smaller, 2-cabin yacht is designed to provide a great sailing experience in a compact and easy-to-handle format.

The Linjett 36, with a hull length of 11.0m or 36ft 1in, boasts a beam of 3.66m or 12ft 0in and a draught of 1.95m or 6ft 4in. The yacht is built by the long-established family-owned Swedish yard and embodies many of the timeless qualities that make the larger Linjett 39 appealing.

One of the standout features of the Linjett 36 is the fixed bowsprit, which comes as standard. This feature is designed to accommodate an electric furler for Code sails, making sail handling a breeze. The bower anchor also has stowage, adding to the yacht's practicality.

The Linjett 36 is being developed with the aim of creating large volumes in a two-cabin layout. This is achieved through the use of recent advances in naval architecture, ensuring the yacht is both spacious and efficient.

The project manager for the Linjett 36 is Stefan Gylleby, while Markus Gustafsson serves as the product owner. The Linjett 36 is a compact alternative to the Linjett 39 for those who want more space than the Linjett 34 offers.

The new yacht model is already generating interest, with five boats of the Linjett 36 having already been sold for delivery in 2026. This comes on the heels of the Linjett 39 winning the family cruiser category in the 2023 European Yacht of the Year awards.

The Linjett 36 is designed to make anchoring easy, even when bows-to a rocky shoreline. This is achieved through a thoughtful design that allows for an easy means of stepping ashore.

The base price of the Linjett 36 is SEK4,095,000 ex VAT, approximately €356,280. For more information, visit the linjett.se website.
