A Comprehensive Summary of Holy Cross

Holy Cross University, a prestigious institution known for its attributes of bravery, loyalty, creativity, and ambition, welcomed prospective students last weekend during Accepted Students Day. The event featured tours, food trucks, and the opportunity for students to meet their potential advisors and select classes in the Student Academic Resource (STAR) system.

One of the new classes that students can look forward to is Focus 331: How to Listen Actively. This course aims to equip students with essential communication skills, fostering an environment of understanding and empathy.

The Registrar is also introducing a list of Holy Cross-specific classes, adding to the diverse range of subjects available. These classes are designed to immerse students in the unique culture and traditions of the university.

The Crusader Cup, a year-long competition between the Montserrat clusters, continues to encourage a sense of camaraderie and friendly competition among students. Points can be earned for acts like holding doors open or giving directions, fostering a spirit of kindness and helpfulness on campus.

In terms of housing, the Townhouses on campus are no longer the only option. A new townhouse called The Hut is now available, providing students with more choices for their living arrangements.

However, it's important to note that some rumours, such as the potential new mascot and the existence of a real-life Spire-Man saviour, have been revealed as false.

Caitlin Wiffler '27, a student at Holy Cross, published an article about the traditions of the university under the same name. As the Head of the Spire-Man Fan Club, Caitlin is a dedicated member of the Holy Cross community.

The Natural World Cluster, one of the many academic clusters at Holy Cross, is home to a diverse group of students and faculty. Its mascot, either a badger or a griffin, symbolises the cluster's commitment to exploring the mysteries of the natural world.

Students can arrive at Holy Cross by car, plane, or a specific-to-Holy Cross train, making it accessible for students from all backgrounds. With its welcoming atmosphere, exciting new classes, and unique traditions, Holy Cross University continues to attract and nurture bright, ambitious students.
