In Warendorf, Germany, on August 25, 2025, a tragic incident occurred at the intersection of Freckenhorster Straße, Wallpromenade, and August-Wessing-Damm. A 90-year-old cyclist was severely injured after being hit from behind by a silo truck.

The cyclist was traveling towards the city center on Freckenhorster Straße when the accident occurred. Behind the cyclist was a 55-year-old woman from Bocholt, who was driving the silo truck.

The cyclist stopped at the traffic light for B 64 when the accident occurred. As a result, the cyclist was trapped under the silo truck and had to be rescued by firefighters. The injured man was promptly taken to a hospital by ambulance.
