Four unidentified males commited a robbery on a 60-year-old man in Limburg last Saturday night. They sprayed him with pepper spray in the face and threatened him with what they assumed to be a firearm, as reported by the authorities. The 60-year-old man had arranged for a rendezvous with a young man through a messaging app. The police did not disclose the specifics of the meeting's purpose. The two had no personal relationship.
During their discussion, a car pulled up and three masked individuals exited it. They attacked the man with pepper spray, forced him into the car, and brandished a weapon near his neck, demanding his EC card PINs. Additionally, they raided the victim's car and snatched various valuable possessions. It appeared that the young man, who had planned to meet the 60-year-old, was involved in the crime.
