2026's Happiest Workplaces Revealed After Record-Breaking Employee Survey

The World's Happiest Workplaces for 2026 have been announced after a record-breaking year for entries. Over a million employees took part in WorkL's Happy at Work Test, helping their organisations compete for a place on the list. Only those scoring 70 or above made the final cut.

More than 120,000 organisations entered the 2026 WorkL awards. Employees from each company completed a happiness assessment, with top scorers earning recognition. The final list includes well-known names like Service Now, Auth0, CGI UK, and Disney, alongside brands such as Jollibee, Standard Bank, and DIOR.

In the marketing and advertising sector, 23 firms were named the happiest workplaces. Ogilvy, HubGem Marketing, and AMV BBDO ranked among them, with no listed winners based in Asia. Meanwhile, Sheraton Athlone Hotel, Atlassian, and ING Bank also secured spots on the broader global list.

Lord Mark Price, founder of WorkL, shared his thoughts on the results. He noted that recognised companies often see higher productivity, lower staff turnover, and reduced sick leave—all linked to happier employees.

The 2026 rankings highlight organisations where employee satisfaction stands out. Those featured on the list now join an exclusive group known for fostering positive work environments. The awards continue to grow, with participation rising each year.
