"2024 Solinger Church Event: A Spiritual and Physical Offering"

Join us for the Church Morning 2024, taking place in Solingen from September 28 to September 30. This event, aimed at bringing people together to strengthen each other, will feature a variety of activities and workshops.

The action-packed weekend kicks off on Saturday at 12:30 PM with a midday prayer, followed by approximately 15 workshops from 1:00 PM to 6:00 PM. These workshops will be held at various locations in the city centre, including the Hofgarten, the Stadtkirche Mitte, the Lutherkirche, and other venues. Topics range from pastoral care and the church in ten years to queer church and blessing. (If the Fronhof's participation is confirmed, it would be an additional location.)

On Saturday evening, there will be a picnic at the Stadtkirche at 6:00 PM, followed by a sing-along concert at the Stadtkirche Mitte at 7:00 PM. The format for the evening sing-along is "Take your seat!", where each table's host brings small delicacies for their group. Tables and benches will be set up for this event.

Sunday morning starts with a joint festival service of all communities in the Evangelical Church Circle of Solingen at the Stadtkirche, beginning at 12:30 PM. The weekend concludes with a large Bergisch coffee table following the Sunday afternoon festival service. Everyone is welcome to contribute something to the food at the tables.
