Tiffani Thiessen, 50, is feeling the loss of her dad Frank Thiessen, who recently passed away at the age of 85. Sharing the heartbreaking news on Instagram on May 24, she penned a touching message, "We miss you so much."
The actress, known for playing Valerie Malone in "Beverly Hills, 90210", spoke of her father as a man with a vast array of interests - he loved animals, pasta, lottery tickets, jazz, and pasta. She further elaborated, "But what he cherished the most was his family." Describing her dad as a silent type who displayed his affection in a discreet manner, she added, "He was kind, had a warm sense of humor, and was nothing less than a true gentleman. The people who had the chance to know him loved him deeply. He had the purest of hearts."
She promises to look after her mother
Thiessen expressed how she couldn't stop the tears from flowing post losing her father but found solace in knowing her dad is finally at rest. She vowed to care for her mother like he did for more than six decades and thanked her father for his undying love and support. She also stressed that he always acted as her biggest fan and protector, "I loved making you proud."
To remember her dear father, Thiessen shared multiple pictures showcasing their bond from her childhood to his role as a grandfather to her children - Holt (8) and Harper (13).
He reached the age of 85 just three months ago
Not too long ago, the actress commemorated her dad's 85th birthday on February 3 with loving words, "Happy 85th birthday, Dad! Another journey around the sun and another candle on your cake. There are many things to be proud of and thankful for, and you are one of them. I love you, Papa!"
