Pfaffenhofen, a town located along the river Ilm - Emergency: Resident accused of igniting a destructive blaze
In the area of Upper Bavaria, a fire at a residential building has left damages estimated at 150,000 euros. Police revealed that it's believed a resident "intentionally" started the blaze on a Friday evening. The building in Baar-Ebenhausen (located in Pfaffenhofen an der Ilm district) was severely damaged by flames and soot. Miraculously, no one was hurt. The investigation department has taken over the case. Reports suggest the alleged arsonist might have a mental illness, so he has been hospitalized.
