Surprise among women during the coffee gathering - Elderly individual backs into bakery shop
Around 3:30 pm on a Saturday afternoon, an older man caused a jaw-dropping accident that could have had more severe consequences. In Büchen, located in the Herzogtum Lauenburg district, he backed his VW Golf into a bakery within an Edeka supermarket.
Behind a broken glass wall and ripped-out entrance door rested two elderly women who were taking a break with their afternoon coffee. Miraculously, they emerged unscathed from this event, but only with a scare. The driver, however, had to be taken to the hospital due to his injuries.
Staff members from a carpentry business temporarily blocked off the entrance with slats and wooden planks. Now, the police are examining the circumstances behind this accident.
