The future of Toppmöller is uncertain. - Eintracht struggles with these Krösche statements!

What's next for Eintracht? Despite their earlier emphasis on keeping coach Dino Toppmöller (43) around for the upcoming season, board member Markus Krösche (43) seems hesitant to commit to him after their 2:2 draw against Leipzig.

When asked about Toppmöller's future, Krösche replied: "We just finished in sixth place and experienced a highly emotional game. That's what matters today."

When pressed for a concrete answer, Krösche responded: "There's no need to discuss personnel just yet. Dino has faced some challenges, and this season has been a learning experience. We're constantly striving for improvement."

Toppmöller has been facing criticism for a while now. His team's performance has deteriorated in the past few months, earning just four wins in the second half of the season. Krösche added: "There have been numerous factors beyond Dino's control, like the loss of several key players before the start of the season. Transitioning from an assistant to a head coach is a process. Everyone needs to improve."

So, where does that leave things?

Toppmöller: "We haven't been handed anything this season." Assuming no unexpected turns of events, Toppi is expected to start his second year with Eintracht.
