Not just one of those involved ... - Eintracht coach Toppmöller receives inquiry from a world club.
Toppmöller's fate in Frankfurt will be decided in the coming week. The sporting director, Markus Krösche (43), is currently on a public relations trip to Japan with Makoto Hasebe (40). Once Krösche returns, there are plans for several meetings with the coach and his staff. While there may be some alterations to the existing procedures, no plans to dismiss Toppmöller have been made.
Alongside Milan, Premier League club Brighton & Hove Albion has had talks with Toppmöller. Like in Milan, his hopes of winning the Champions League with Eintracht prevented him from accepting their offer. Roberto De Zerbi, who was recently let go by Brighton, was also discussed in regards to Milan, but is now seeking a job in England.
