Remember: Reissue of warning for potential explosives in mail throughout U.S. - Edeka withdraws metal-containing children's snack.

Paul Daut GmbH recently found metal fragments in some packs of their frozen dinosaur-shaped chicken nuggets - Gut & Günstig Knusper Dinos. The Federal Office for Consumer Protection and Food Safety issued a recall notice.

The Recalled Product

The product in question is the 400 gram pack of Gut & Günstig Knusper Dinos, with a best-before date of April 3, 2025. Other Gut & Günstig or Crispy Dinos with different best-before dates are not affected.

The recall primarily affects stores in Schleswig-Holstein, Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania, Hamburg, Lower Saxony, Bremen, Berlin, Brandenburg, Saxony-Anhalt, and Hesse, as well as neighboring areas of North Rhine-Westphalia and Thuringia. Edeka and Marktkauf are the main outlets where this product was sold.

If you've purchased the Crispy Dinos, do not consume them and return them to your nearest Edeka or Marktkauf store for a refund, regardless of whether or not you have a receipt.
