Friends and neighbors describe a tragic incident that occurred in a Berlin apartment building in Wilmersdorf on Tuesday afternoon. A 43-year-old mother of a teenage girl was found injured near her residence. The exact details of the stabbing remain unknown, but it is thought to have happened around 1:30 PM.
An eyewitness living in the same building said: "The lady has resided here with her partner for 15-20 years. They have a daughter, who is likely around 15 years old. This is so distressing. Everyone in the building is stunned by the events. The family has always been pleasant, although they rarely interacted with the other tenants."
Details about the events leading up to the murder have not been revealed by the Berlin Public Prosecutor's Office. However, reports suggest that the husband was seen leaving the house with the police after the attack, and he appeared to have bloodied pants.
To clarify the situation, a spokesperson for the Public Prosecutor's Office confirmed: "The husband is not considered a suspect and has not been arrested."
It seems the woman managed to crawl to the garden house after the attack, which took place in front of her house. She was able to call her partner for assistance, but sadly, he arrived too late to save her life. Emergency services were called, but it was already too late to save the woman.
