Exceptional TV moment - During an interview, the commentator was seen holding an ice pack.

Unexpectedly, Rasta Vechta triumphs in the second game of the play-offs in the Easycredit Basketball Bundesliga, defeating European Cup champions, Niners Chemnitz with a score of 96-87. With this victory, the score now stands at 1-1 in the best-of-five series in the quarterfinals. The Saxons had won the first game with a score of 83-77. The next match will take place on Tuesday at 8:30pm, and can be watched live on Dyn.

In a thrilling moment just before half-time, Wes van Beck from Chemnitz lashes out and hits Joel Aminu in the face. Aminu collapses, with blood pouring from his nose.

Michael Körner, the Dyn commentator, shares his reaction to the scene: "A punch in the face! The referees will have to review this. I'll be interested to see." Later, after a private discussion, he says, "No, they won't be having a look at it to consider it as an assault. The reason they gave for unsportsmanlike conduct is because he struck him in the face with his fist. I believe they need to take another look to determine if it was an assault. The game resumes with a free throw and possession. What we witnessed on camera, if you allow the pun, was undeniable."

THE MOMENT THAT DEFINED THAT YEAR ON TELEVISION!

Aminu has a handkerchief stuck in his nostril because of the nosebleed

During the break at 35:42, Aminu, his nose affixed with a handkerchief to stop the bleeding, recounts the episode to Dyn: "I don't think it was deliberate. I was simply attempting to contain van Beck when he tried to break free and ended up going through my face."

Bemused, Körner wraps an ice pack around Aminu's neck to help stop the nosebleed.

Regrettably, the Niners were without the injured superstar Kaza Kajami-Keane and the suspended Aher Uguak, who received a suspension and a fine of 1,000 euros for stepping out of bounds in the first game against Vechta.

Steffen Herhold, the Niners' managing director, discusses the situation with Dyn: "We have no issue with the ruling that stepping with a raised leg is a disqualifying foul. In our appeal, we requested leniency on the fine. And yes, there was a similar situation last year during the play-offs. That was also undisputed. We were hoping that the officials would act with sensitivity, as we saw yesterday in Ulm."

Referring to Kajami-Keane, Herhold adds, "It's a matter of the day. We'll have to see how he progresses over the coming days."

In an evenly contested match, Vechta led 69-63 at the start of the final quarter. A pivotal moment occurred at 83-74, with just over five minutes remaining.

In the end, one player in particular stands out: Aminu, who scored 30 points, including in the final quarter, to lead his team to victory. Laughing at Dyn, Aminu jokes, "I just reviewed my stats again. It's not because of my 30 points. Instead, I want to prepare for any questions that might come my way. Chemnitz surprised us with their physicality in the first game. We were the more physical team today. We must continue this in the play-off series."
