He was extremely angry. - Dreesen, head of Bayern, stays mum on the ongoing crisis.

Following the 2:4 loss against TSG Hoffenheim in their last game, tension filled the halls for the record-holding Bayern Munich. With captain Manuel Neuer (38) and club legend Thomas Müller (34) baring their frustrations, they voiced displeasure regarding the current state of affairs.

In contrast, CEO Jan-Christian Dreesen (56) opted against making any comments about missed chances to earn runner-up status and the hunt for a coach.

Bayern's CEO Dreesen Stoic in the Face of Crisis

His most recent public appearance can be traced back to a time when they were vanquished by Real Madrid in the semi-final (1:2, 2:2). Speaking at a concluding dinner in the upscale restaurant, "Platea Madrid," Dreesen offered a motivational speech, stating: "This epitomizes our Bayern family spirit - returning with greater strength and resolve following these humiliating losses. It's something we popularly refer to as our 'Mia-san-mia' response!"

The CEO didn't make similar remarks post-Sinsheim defeat. Instead, Müller provided a candid assessment. On "ZDF," he shared: "Losing second place and not appearing in the Super Cup next season is another insult."

On the subject of the job search and a new coach, Müller added: "Even though people are saying FC Bayern is going through a rough patch right now, we'll see how that pans out in the end."

However, he supplied little in terms of details. At present, it's unclear whom Bayern will appoint as their new chief. Sports director Max Eberl (50) told Sky: "My friend once said that the best often arrives last. We'll find a superb solution."

Yesterday, yet another rejection was added to the list: Roger Schmidt (57) from Benfica Lisbon. Prior to this, Xabi Alonso (42) of Leverkusen, Julian Nagelsmann (36) from the DFB, Ralf Rangnick (65) from Austria, Oliver Glasner (49) who must stay at Crystal Palace, and Thomas Tuchel (50) all declined the position.
