Finally, Esa Lindell scored an empty-net goal with only two minutes to spare, resulting in a tie (58). Jake Oettinger, the netminder for Dallas, successfully defended against 28 shots on goal.
In this year's playoffs, Draisaitl, at the age of 28, had managed to be involved in at least one goal in each and every one of the Oilers' matches, including their 3-2 overtime victory against Dallas to initiate the series. Draisaitl is currently the top scorer in the playoffs with 25 goals to his name. The team is now set to host the following two games in Edmonton on Tuesday. The Oilers are striving to make their first appearance in the Stanley Cup Final in the last 18 years by achieving the required four wins.
