Movie canine Messi - Dogs dominate in Cannes

Beware if you don't obey the strict dress code at the 77th Cannes Film Festival! Men are forbidden from walking the red carpet of the opening ceremony without a tuxedo and black bow tie, with the exception of furry companions.

On March 10, Messi sat in the studio of the 96th Academy Awards in Los Angeles, next to his French film animal trainer Laura Martin Contini

Along with a comedian, he produces short videos for French television every day, with the intention of interviewing some celebrities - through "a dog's perspective and innocence," as they call it.

Messi is hardly new to Cannes. Last year, he graced the red carpet with Sandra Hüller (46) and the other stars of "Anatomy of a Case" when the film won the festival's most prestigious prize, the Palme d'Or.
