In the quaint town of Brakel, NRW, a schoolgirl vanished after school on Wednesday at 1 p.m. She was nowhere to be found until the evening. The police mobilized their forces with two helicopters in the extensive search operation. The DLRG divers combed the river Siechenbach and the Mühlengraben, where she might have been. They even used a sniffer dog to aid in their search.
"She's alive and holding up reasonably well under the circumstances," stated the police. They're now inquiring the reason why the schoolgirl was so far from her house. "We're in touch with our colleagues in Hesse," they added.
Many locals participated in the rescue operation, scouring meadows, fields, and the village for any signs of the missing teen. Meanwhile, divers scoured a nearby stream for any clues.
