Conflict arises in a family involving a steakhouse heiress. - Did the Block children arrive in Denmark from this mobile home?
Detectives encircled the Grand Elysée Hotel in Hamburg, belonging to the family. Since early morning on Thursday, around 100 police officers and the LKA have been actively working, completely enclosing the building and its entrances.
The authorities are now searching for a motorhome and have posted notices around the hotel:
"We need your assistance! On January 1, 2024, two children were illegally taken from Denmark to Germany. A motorhome was used in the process. The motorhome was registered to an individual with an address in Wurmberg. Various criminal activities involving the camper van took place in Harrislee (OtOt Kupfermühle district) and Wurmberg. The motorhome is a Fiat Ducato with a Euramobil body and the license plate number PF-NG 390."
Once again, the Grand Hotel Elysée Hamburg and the residential, commercial, office, and other business premises of E. Block in Hamburg-Poppenbüttel are involved in this case, as he has also been identified as a suspect. His person, property, and vehicles have also been subjected to a search. The operation's goal is to find evidence. It is suspected that E. and C. Block organized and carried out the child abduction with the help of other suspects. The investigation is still ongoing.
The police are requesting:
- Who witnessed the motorhome, when and where?
- Who can provide information on the whereabouts of the camper van or any other relevant information?

The long custody battle in the Block family
Steakhouse heiress Christina Block ("Block House") and her ex-husband Stephan Hensel had four children together. Johanna (17) currently lives voluntarily with her father in Gravenstein (Denmark), while Greta (15) resides with her mother in Hamburg.
The custody battle over Klara (13) and Theodor (10) has made headlines for several weeks.
Hensel kept them in Denmark after a visit in 2021. He argues that Klara and Theodor are with him willingly and that there is "violence in the maternal household."
▶︎ On December 31st, 2023, eight men reportedly attacked him and brutally beat him up. They then took Klara and Theodor to Germany.
However, just four days later, the Hamburg Higher Regional Court mandated that the children should return to their father.
▶︎ The Danish authorities issued a European arrest warrant for Christina Block, which was then converted into a residence order in Germany.
Steakhouse tycoon Eugen Block (83) is also deeply affected by this situation. Stephan Hensel refuses to let him see his grandchildren. He was also not allowed to say goodbye to his late wife, Christa Block († 82), when she passed away in July.
