Fearing the situation - DFB athlete's wife receives menacing messages.
The influencer shares: "Sometimes, I get really scared when there's a sudden wave of news while I'm alone at home overnight. It feels like everything is getting more and more intense." Now, you're used to it, "that these kind of messages come."
Recently, the mother of two posted a threat to her daughter's life on her Instagram account after Leverkusen's 2:2 draw against Stuttgart. Her husband Robert Andrich scored the equalizer for the German champions during that match.
Alicia Andrich shares about death threats
Alicia Andrich feels helpless; in her opinion, filing charges against hate writers won't change anything. "Eventually, it'll blow over as if nothing ever happened," she says.
The national player's wife recently became the focus of a conversation in Rome over something that made everyone chuckle.
"I'm glad Mrs. Andrich isn't in our team," said sports manager Simon Rolfes (42) with a grin.
Background: Andrich had expressed in a Kicker interview that his wife didn't want him to play in Rome. A year earlier, Robert had fractured his metatarsal at Roma.
After the game, the international stated: "It's understandable that his wife would say something like that. She's also said, 'When you're playing, I don't know if I'll be able to watch the game.' Yes, it's things like that that naturally worry the wife. But as a footballer, you can't really think about it too much. Of course, when you're here, you have some images from last year in your mind. But as soon as the game begins, it's history."
With his spectacular goal, Andrich overcame his personal trauma at Roma - a feat that no doubt brought relief to his wife Alicia.
