Riding celebrity (†36) passes away. - Devastating declaration from a husband.

This heartfelt message touched many hearts...

A week ago, an unfortunate incident rocked the world of sports. Georgie Campbell, an event rider, met with a fatal accident at the Bicton Horse Trials. She was just 36 years old.

On Instagram, Jesse shared a wedding photo of Georgie, accompanied by a moving caption.

He said, "I adore you so much. This is my most cherished photo of my stunning spouse. It's from our wedding in 2020, and it was the most incredible day. People will talk about G's (Georgie's, Note: editor's addition) smile, and it was truly radiant - it made me feel like the center of the universe. What I love about this picture, though, is how it encapsulates her strength. She was a strong, gorgeous, remarkable woman who loved everyone and everything."

What occurred?

Campbell fell off her horse Global Quest while clearing a hurdle in the Cross Country phase. Both she and the horse tumbled into the water. Fortunately, the horse remained unharmed. The British rider was an experienced contender, having participated in over 200 competitions and earning six titles.

Jesse continued on Instagram, "Life in the realm of equestrian sports isn't simple; it's filled with numerous lows and challenging days. But G (Georgie, Note: editor's addition) overcame this by approaching every situation with so much joy and love."

In the end, he wrote, "I'm so proud to be your husband. Rest in peace, my lovely one."

Jesse, too, is a well-known figure in equestrian sports. The New Zealander participated in the 2021 Tokyo Olympics and will compete in Paris this summer.

Now he must find the strength to carry on...
