The Instagram post with the doctored photo has amassed 57,000 likes, and 182,000 individuals follow the account christened "royalstoryuk". This profile primarily shares images and news about the British royals, specifically regarding Kate and her husband Prince William (41).
Although some followers discern the photo manipulation - not everyone realizes it: "Her smile and the gleam in her eyes prove that she is our queen," remarks one.
