A stirring instance for Alex Schlüter. - DAZN broadcaster unexpectedly starts crying.
Farewell emotions running high.
This is the last time he's on DAZN. In the summer, he'll be joining Amazon Prime where he'll be taking over from Sebastian Hellmann for the Champions League coverage.
After the conclusion of Bayern's game against Wolfsburg, commentator Marco Hagemann takes control of the microphone.
He says, "Time for something completely different. Alex, you're bidding us farewell. This was your final game. It was a great privilege for me to share your final game with you."
A short video is played for his farewell.
The presenter can't handle it. Tears start flowing!
Schlüter responds, "I thought I'd stay composed. How silly of me."
Schlüter was there from the beginning when DAZN was founded in 2016. In fact, he was the fifth employee at that time.
Now, a chapter in his life is drawing to a close.
