Leitl's loans for professionals - Damar and Scott turn 96 into champions through their skills.

The championship title in the Regionalliga Nord has been secured by Hannover 96's U23 team - 5:0 against Eimsbüttel.

Leitl's trio is key to Hannover 96's success

The young players Christopher Scott (21), Mo Damar (20), and Antonio Foti (20) played a crucial role in this win. Coach Stefan Leitl (46) called upon these three talented individuals from the second division squad. And they didn't let him down.

Hannover 96 had a shaky start to the game, but after 43 minutes, they found their groove. Foti bursts into the penalty area and passes to Damar, who tucks the ball into the back of the net from close-range - 1:0.

Scott, on loan from Royal Anwerpen, comes on 62 seconds into the second half and immediately scores with a gorgeous curling finish assisted by Fynn Arkenberg - 2:0. The title is confirmed.

Scott bags a brace

Husseyn Chakroun (19), who recently signed his first professional contract, increases the lead to 3-0 after 68 minutes. Scott strikes again in the 78th minute, making it 4-0, and Eric Uhlmann makes it 5-0.

Foti, who was brilliant throughout the game, was substituted due to a foot injury in the second half.

The crowd at Eilenriedestadion is ecstatic - "Daniel Stendel, you're the best man" - as coach Daniel Stendel (50) has turned a group of talented players into a championship-winning team. The professionals are also thrilled. Damar has scored 9 goals in the U23 league, while this was Scott's first in a Hannover 96 shirt.

Martin Kind (80) and sporting director Marcus Mann (40) are overjoyed in the stands, as is NFV boss Ralph-Uwe Schaffert (67), who presents Hannover 96 with the championship trophy after the game.

Hannover 96 faces Würzburg for promotion

In the next regional league game, Hannover faces St. Pauli II (18.5.). They will then face Würzburg in two decisive matches (29.5./2.6.) for promotion to the 3rd division. The first leg is in Würzburg, the second leg in Hanover.
