Phillip Lellau, a cruise expert, shed light on the evolving nature of cruising. He shared that earlier cruising was more accurate, but the portrayed behavior and promises made to the captain are no longer suitable due to the changed safety measures. These days, real-life cruises wouldn't allow some of the things that go on aboard the dream ship.

The working hours of officers were also explored. At TUI Cruises, Lellau is typically at sea for three months followed by three months on land. This unconventional lifestyle can be challenging for families, so his wife and daughter accompany him on the cruises. "It's a unique arrangement," Lellau said. "Myself and my wife chose to do it together, and we're still delighted with this choice."

Since he's now a staff captain with three stripes on his shoulders, Lellau has a spacious outside cabin with a balcony. When he began his career as a young officer, he had to make do with cramped quarters.

Finally, Jauch asked if anyone could still impress women with a uniform like Lellau's. "It does help," Lellau admitted. "They didn't exaggerate in the dreamboat in this regard; it's quite realistic."

In the end, the likeable Lellau won €64,000. He's already planning to spend it: "I'll take my wife and child on a cruise."
