Forced to remain confined and endure pain - Cruel individual targets tomcat with gunfire
Poor Günther from Mörsdorf (Saale-Holzland district), a four-legged friend, must have gone through unbearable pain. His muzzle had several deep bullet holes.
The authorities in Jena are taking this case seriously. They strongly suspect that Günther was shot several times with an air rifle. According to a spokesperson for the Jena state police station, "We think the poor four-legged friend was shot with an air rifle."
Now, authorities are investigating to find the person behind this heinous act. They need help from the public in tracking down the perpetrator(s). "We're asking for any information regarding the individual(s) responsible," said the spokesperson.
It's also important for owners of air guns to ensure their weapons are secure. "We advise pet owners to keep compressed air weapons out of reach of children and young people," said the spokesperson.
