He passed away in a vehicle collision. - Criminal interred in a casket made of gold.
In the midst of Dublin, where crime and violence often rule, Stephen O'Reilly - a notorious Irish criminal in his late 30s - known for burglaries and serious crimes - was involved in a fatal car accident on May 20th. "Daily Mail" reported the news. With his nickname being "the real Pablo," his unusual burial arrangement caught everyone's attention.
Six burly men and a lady carried his body out of an ambulance in a gold-plated coffin. As "Simply the Best" by Tina Turner echoed in the background, he was pushed through the front window of his house. The casket, adorned with luxurious gold, was the unconventional choice for his funeral service where a naked child statue and a box of cocaine with the sign "No Comment" were placed alongside white paper roses.
Stephen's remaining friends paid their respects to him, too. They mourned his loss, "How are we supposed to go on without you? I can't even believe I'm writing this. I'm so heartbroken, Reilly. It seems like some kind of horrific nightmare; it doesn't even feel real. It's like God had to take you."
Victims of his criminal acts might interpret things much differently.
