A Ukrainian teen narrowly escaped death in Dortmund. - Cops seeking person with face scar after stabbing incident
A teenage Ukrainian boy was attacked on a Sunday evening in Nordstadt, and police are now looking for the assailant with a detailed description. The 15-year-old was with two friends when he was stabbed multiple times in the upper body by a sharp object, nearly dying from a life-threatening wound that almost hit his heart. He also received a neck injury.
Fortunately, his condition improved after an emergency operation, but the attack left scars on his body.
Prosecutor Maribel Andersson is leading the attempted manslaughter investigation and the Dortmund homicide squad is conducting the search for the knife-wielding culprit. They managed to gather information from first witnesses on Sunday. On Monday, they unveiled these details about the stabber:
- Age: 17 to 25 years old
- Height: 1.75 to 1.85 meters
- Physical description: Dark, short hair; Slim
- Distinguishing feature: A scar from the right eyebrow to the right cheek
