Angelo Kelly's perspective on a topic. - Complimentary commentary following Gabriel's triumph in "Let's Dance" contest

Angelo Kelly, age 42, is filled with pride as his son Gabriel Kelly, age 22, won "Let's Dance" season 17 on May 24 with the highest score. Angelo shared his admiration for his son on Instagram, saying, "Gabriel, you've always put your all into this for several months now, and you've stayed true to yourself! We're so proud of you!"

Professional dancer Malika Dzumaev, age 33, was instrumental in Gabriel's success on the show. "Thank you, dear Malika, for gently introducing our son Gabriel to the world of dance! Teenagers need mentors aside from their families," expressed Angelo, who found fame as a member of the Kelly Family. He was grateful to Dzumaev for showing his son the ropes.

Malika Dzumaev's heartfelt response

Malika Dzumaev, who had attempted the dance show three times before this and finally took home the win this season, was emotional. "I'll always remember this time because it was so special! I'm so proud of Gabriel! He did it with his heart, and that's what truly matters!" she commented under the post. Malika also expressed gratitude towards Angelo Kelly and his wife Kira Harms Kelly, age 44, for "the values you instilled in him as a son and as a person."

Gabriel Kelly, who battled it out with Detlef D! Soost, age 53, and Jana Wosnitza, age 30, in the finale, remained the clear favorite throughout the competition. He boasted a perfect score of 30 points for his dance a grand total of nine times. A close bond was formed between the German-Irishman and his dance partner, according to Dzumaev, telling RTL, "There's a deep connection between us."

Both Gabriel and Dzumaev plan to keep in touch following the show's conclusion. In fact, Gabriel is even contemplating utilizing his "Let's Dance" prize money to book private lessons with her in Bremen.
