### A Close Rivalry for the Kellner Cup's Assists Lead

Competition between national squad members Marian Michalczik (27) and Julian Köster (24) is tightening up as they fight to top the leaderboard in assists. Michalczik holds the lead but with just 136 assists, while Köster follows closely behind with 135. However, Köster's performance is slightly hampered by his team, VfL Gummersbach, as he's played one less game than Michalczik.

Interesting fact: Both players were the leading scorers in the assists department last season. Michalczik clinched first place with 168 assists whilst Köster finished second with 157.
