Night of Steko's Battle in Olympic Ice Arena - Competing for the world title in kickboxing goes on.

One of the fighters is 22-year-old Oscar Plasene, who has shed 14 kilos to claim the title in the "semi-welterweight lowkick" category. He's confident and pumped," I'm thoroughly prepared, my fists are ablaze. I can't wait for the fight." And he guarantees," There'll be a knockout."

Another fighter is 34-year-old Mario Kornhass, who also yearns to be a world champion. He's driven by the memory of his deceased father," My father is watching from above and eagerly anticipating the fight. I've worked hard and extensively to prepare for this moment." His mantra," Rise early, and you can accomplish anything."

World champion and crowd-favorite Leon Gavanas (24) is set to defend his WKU super cruiserweight title against Portugal's Iuri Fernandes (22). Gavanas is optimistic," I tore two external ligaments, but they're healed now. I've trained with the best in Thailand and Dubai and feel fantastic. This fight will be a spectacle." And he promises," I'll end the fight in the second round."

Pascal Schroth (30), a kickboxing pro from Bremerhaven, is returning to the ring. He's set to fight the Italian Lorenzo Di Vara (28), who's also a world champion, holding the title in the "ISKA" class. Schroth resides on the island of Koh Phangan in Thailand, where he owns a sports studio. He became a national sensation after suffering a broken neck during a fight in China in 2018 and making a miraculous recovery.

Schroth states," Germany is and will always be my home. I'm thrilled to be back. Before my recent fight, I had a tropical fever, spent 10 days in the hospital, and lost 6 kilos. But now I'm completely recovered."

And he also swears," I'll knock my opponent to the ground right from the get-go. Because I am the champion."
