Nearly solitary Bayern standout in Munich. - Coman competes for the European Championship in this location!
A few days prior, French national team's winger Kingsley Coman (25) was added to Didier Deschamps' (55) provisional lineup for the summer's European Championship in Germany. Unfortunately, the player is recovering from recent injuries on his right adductors and left knee.
To fulfill his dream of playing at the tournament this summer, Coman has to be ready by the initial match on June 17th for France against Austria. He needs to participate in their final squad before the set date on June 7th, where national coaches would disclose their rosters.
The primary deadline for reaching optimum form is approaching. If he doesn't manage his fitness until then, Coman could possibly be removed from the team. Due to these circumstances, he's persistently training under rehabilitation coach Simon Martinello (39) at FC Bayern, as the others had left to enjoy their summer holidays or represent their national teams.
The winger is currently working on running, passing, and shooting without any constraints. The following weeks will focus on gradually raising the training rigor, aiming for the best performance.
On the same day, at the Bayern training facility, Raphael Guerreiro (30), a left-back player, underwent 20-minute-long laps around the Coman group. He's been trying to come back from a ligament and capsule injury in his ankle since May. Regrettably, Guerreiro's recovery will not be completed in time for the European Championship. Moreover, he's not in the Portuguese squad.
Tarek Buchmann (19), a hopeful central defender, commenced his first rehab session with the ball since his thigh injury three months back at the FC Bayern, only Buchmann was present and active on this training-free Monday.
