Cologne's Uth extends deal, despite potential relegation.

FC Köln's standout player Mark Uth (32) will remain with the team, regardless of their possible relegation from the Bundesliga after playing their final match in Heidenheim on Saturday (3.30pm).

Now Uth (184 league games for FC) has made his decision for FC before the final game against Heidenheim. No matter what league Cologne plays in the future, Uth will stay with them!

Uth Wants to End His Career with FC

The FC made the announcement one day before the game against Heidenheim: "Before leaving, Mark Uth signed a new contract - and he sent a message: Ejal, wat och passeet, the 32-year-old midfielder with the number 13 will be playing for FC during the next season."

Uth shares his thoughts: "At this moment, I'm only thinking about Heidenheim. We have to give our best and do our part. Everyone in the city, including myself, is confident about staying in the league. So, I'm completely optimistic. It was important for me to continue taking responsibility at the club near my heart and to progress sportswise after not being able to contribute as much as I wanted in the past two years. There's nothing else for me - I want to end my career at FC."

Mark Uth played 184 league games for FC and would now even go into the 2nd division with them
