Due to a marital union. - Cologne athlete temporarily banned from practicing

Since Monday, it's been evident that if Cologne gets relegated on Saturday at 3:30 pm in Heidenheim, FC fans won't get to see their top talent Justin Diehl (19) wearing their team's jersey again. The forward, who's transferring to VfB during the summer, has been banned from training for a week due to disciplinary actions.

The reason? He attended a friend's wedding instead of being at the stadium to support his team. While his teammates battled to avoid relegation against Union and pulled off a 3:2 victory in extra time, Diehl was at a church, posing for a picture that he posted on Instagram.

Even though Diehl didn't play in that match, his decision created a huge uproar within the team. Sports boss Christian Keller and coach Timo Schultz immediately kicked the young player out, despite the numerous personnel and injury issues. Keller explained, "Justin is training independently this week as a result of disciplinary actions."
