Incident takes place in Mallorca. - Collapse at Ballermann's beach club claims three lives.
On a Thursday evening around 8pm, a two-story house on Calle Cartago near Balneario 1 fell apart. The police reported that three victims were found.
Swift action was taken by emergency services. Police with a big force were already present, and they cordoned off a large area. The fire department thinks that people may be buried and is there with numerous emergency vehicles and heavy machinery for potential rescue operations. Many ambulances were also called in.
Numerous injured individuals were cared for right in the middle of the road.
The destroyed building housed the famous "Medusa Beach Club". It's believed that substantial debris from the building crashed directly onto the restaurant's terrace. Initial investigations hint at the possibility of up to ten individuals being trapped under the debris.
