Uzun opposes Andersson - Club disputes over training issues
On Wednesday, Uzun and Swedish striker Sebastian Andersson (32) had a brief yet fierce exchange during training. A confrontation in the training match resulted in a heated shoving match. Team-mate James Lawrence (31) had to intervene and separate the two fighters to avoid further escalation. Iván Márquez (29) also dashed over to defuse the situation.
Following the episode, Uzun shouted a few words at Andersson, who simply smiled away the argument. The situation soon returned to calmness.
Coach Cristian Fiél (44) remained unfazed: "These types of games on a smaller field can sometimes lead to incidents like these. But I don't think it's anything negative."
This wasn't the first dispute between Uzun and Andersson over the final meters at the club. After Uzun's last appearance on Saturday, Fiél expressed dissatisfaction with Uzun despite scoring and assisting in the 3-0 victory against Elversberg.
