Surprisingly life-like - China duplicates whole Greek island

Santorini, the picturesque Greek island, now has a look-alike in China. This time, it's not by the sea but in a lake nestled in the province of Yunnan. A whole vacation resort has been created here, complete with typical whitewashed houses like the ones you'd find in the "Santorini Dali Resort."

Even though this place is quite astonishing, it still can't compare to the real thing, as per Yasmin von Roon (27), an Italian TikToker. She was interviewed by The Sun and said she wanted to check out the Chinese Santorini firsthand.

China has invested over a billion euros for this project, which spans across 3700 hectares. You'll find hotels, restaurants, and stores to complete the tourist experience at the Dali resort. It's especially popular among wedding couples.
