I could have never imagined that this would happen. - CEO Kind ascends to chief fan position.
Despite scheduling conflicts, Martin Kind (80) made sure to attend the match and arrived eight minutes after it started.
Hannover 96 convincingly defeated Eimsbüttel 5-0, claiming the Regionalliga Nord championship ahead of schedule.
Kind: "It's amazing! Kudos to everyone involved. The team's makeup, Daniel Stendel, and his staff – they've done something special."
Kind: "We definitely deserved the victory. If you watched it again today, this is an exceptional squad. A fantastic coach. And a magnificent stadium. We've become the North German champions; it's something to be proud of! We can be grateful, honored, and content."
Kind: "Yes, that's fantastic as well. The players are having a blast. That's the culture we've cultivated. The team spirit and overall attitude are spot-on. We are Hannover 96 – we embody that. The openness we've achieved is crucial."
Kind: "Yes, that's wonderful too. Our U23 squad is highly regarded as well. This makes us an attractive destination for skilled players who might not have considered it before. Now, both regionally and nationally, our professionalism and high transfer rates are being acknowledged. Hannover 96 has made great progress in this regard."
Kind: "Of course, we'd be thrilled. We'd be the first second division team to have a third division team if we achieve this. I wouldn't have imagined this when we planned our 96 Academy's strategy years ago. But..."
Kind: "It's a core aspect of our academy's approach that players can progress to the first team. To spot this potential, we need a strong foundation and nurturing environment. That's rewarding."
Kind: "I'm so happy for him. We've had a long relationship. He played for us in 1999 and ascended with Hannover 96 in 2002. Now, he's excelling as a coach in the academy. This accomplishment caps off the past two years' development. He's a coach who inspires his players. It's evident in their drive."
