Sports: Basketball - Celtics teeter on the edge of NBA championship.

The Boston Celtics are almost back to the NBA finals, the North American professional basketball league. They won Game 3 of the eastern conference finals against the Indiana Pacers and are now one victory away from the final. Although they fell behind for a large portion of the game, down by as much as 18 points, it was only in the final minute that Jrue Holiday brought the Celtics back in the lead. With three seconds remaining, Holiday secured the crucial ball before hitting the final points with two free throws. Jayson Tatum was the standout player for Boston, scoring 36 points, grabbing ten rebounds, and providing eight assists.

The Pacers, who had won all their home games in this year's playoffs before, performed well but were significantly impacted by the absence of their star player, Tyrese Haliburton, particularly in the closing stages. They now face the challenge of becoming the first team in NBA history to win a series coming from a 3-0 deficit. No team has managed this feat in the 154 instances where a team has lost the first three games of a series.

For the Celtics, this is another chance to appear in the finals for the second time in the last three years. In 2022, they lost to the Golden State Warriors, with Daniel Theis from Germany joined by others. The last time the Celtics won a championship, tied with the Los Angeles Lakers for the highest number of titles with 17 each, was in 2008.
