Nine individuals accuse him publicly in interviews, yet ... - Celebrity actors voice support for Kevin Spacey's comeback.
Seven years prior, several men claimed that the actor was guilty of sexual assault, some of which were severe. Last summer, this person was found not guilty of all accusations in a court in London.
In a new documentary titled "Spacey Unmasked" (releasing June 7 in Germany on discovery+), ten other alleged victims now speak up.
One of these individuals is "House of Cards" actor Daniel (aged 23 at the time). He shared a moment with Kevin Spacey on camera where he was allowed to whisper something in his ear. This situation soon turned into a nightmare, he claims.
"We were leaving the set together when he approached me to share something. All of a sudden, I felt his hand fiddling with my zipper and touching my genitals. It was sexual. I was sexually assaulted at work," stated Daniel.
He continued, tremblingly, "His eyes seemed cold and devoid of emotion. It felt like I was looking into the eyes of a soulless creature." Daniel kept the incident private for years due to fear of affecting his career.
"House of Cards" crew member hired to supervise Kevin Spacey
The documentary also showcases a member of the "House of Cards" production team - Evelyn. Her duties were significant, as she was required to "keep track of Kevin" at all times and in all places to "keep him away from young men."
According to her, Daniel wasn't Spacey's only target for inappropriate behavior. Evelyn explained, "Kevin's inappropriate actions were no secret. However, people just dismissed it as 'Well, that's what happens here'. The workspace was quite unpleasant for many."
Celebrities in Hollywood support Kevin Spacey's return
Despite the recent intense accusations against him, celebrities such as Sharon Stone (66) and Liam Neeson (71) are now requesting that Spacey resume his acting career.
Neeson said to the British "Telegraph," "Kevin is a good man with character."
Stone also concurred, "I can't wait to see Kevin back on screen. He's a genius. He's so sophisticated, witty, and generous, and understands our craft better than most of us ever will."
Interestingly, Kevin Spacey himself characterizes the current "Spacey Unmasked" documentary as a "desperate attempt to increase viewership."
